Nakhla
نخلة
Your company, written down so it can run itself.
Nakhla is Arabic for the date palm — the tree the Gulf was built around. It takes years before it gives anything. Then it gives for a hundred years, and it outlives whoever planted it.
That is the idea. Your business gets written down once, properly. It is worth little on the first day and more every month it runs, because everything it learns stays written down. It belongs to the company, not to whoever set it up.
The problem
Every morning, you explain your business again.
You open a chat. You explain what you sell. You explain who your clients are. You paste in the same background you pasted yesterday. You get something almost right, and you rewrite it.
Then you close the tab and all of it is gone.
That is not a prompting problem. It is a memory problem. The AI is clever. It just does not know your company.
Every day, the same loop
- → new chat
- → explain the business
- → explain the offer
- → open thirty tabs
- → get something generic
- → close the tab. gone.
The idea
So the business gets written down once, in plain files.
Not in a database. Not inside somebody's app. Plain folders on your own computer, in ordinary language you can read and edit yourself.
Eight files describe the company. Who buys from you. What you sell and what it costs. How you sound. What you have actually done. The rules you run on.
Every job reads those files first. So it already knows you before it starts.
If you stop paying for anything, the folder is still yours. It is text. It does not expire.

Tools, team, how the week runs
Every department has a floor. Under it, the work stops and tells you which record is thin — instead of quietly making something worse.
The work
Sixteen departments. 157 jobs. Open any of them.
A job is one task with one output — a call sheet, a shortlist, an invoice, a VAT return. This is the org chart of an agency of fifty to a hundred people, written out job by job.
Every one has a full written process. Open any job and you can read why it exists, the numbered steps it follows, the things it is never allowed to do, and the checks it has to pass before it counts as finished. 1,226 steps and 1,086 checks in total. Nothing is hidden.

Two layers
Your business, and everyone else's.
A marketing agency and a dental clinic do not run the same way. But they both invoice, both hire, both chase late payment. So Nakhla comes in two parts.
Core
10 departments · 96 jobs
Every business has these. Management, people, money, operations, sales, support, legal.
A laundry, a clinic, a car dealer, a consultancy — all of them need this and none of them have it written down.
Agency pack
6 departments · 61 jobs
Creators, camera crews, AI content, media buying, client campaigns.
Only a marketing or creative agency needs this. Future Art runs on it, and it is the part no other system has.
The important part
You are always the one who decides.
Runs
It does the work and files it. Nothing leaves the company. Read it whenever you want.
Drafts
It writes it. You read it and decide whether it goes out. Most client-facing work sits here.
Yours
Judgment. Pricing, contract terms, the creative idea. It gathers and prepares. You decide.
Nothing is ever sent, posted, paid or signed without a person saying so. There is no setting above Runs, and there is not going to be one.
Straight answers
What this is not.
- Is it replacing my team?
- No. It does the jobs nobody had time for. Your people approve the work and decide what happens next.
- Do I need to know how to code?
- No. Future Art installs it and runs it. You get the outputs.
- Where does my data go?
- Onto your machine. Client information and creator rates are never published anywhere.
- What does it cost to run?
- A Claude subscription, about $20 a month, paid to Anthropic. There is no server and no platform fee.
- What if I stop?
- You keep the folder. It is plain text. It still works.
- Is it finished?
- No. It is version 0.1, built on Future Art's own business first. We are not selling something we have not run ourselves.
Where it is now
Being built in the open.
- NowThe engine works. Intelligence department running, with real outputs filed.
- NextFill in the register properly. Prices, client objections, the roster.
- ThenTalent and Pipeline open up. Test on real client work.
- AfterInstall it for two businesses outside Future Art.
- LaterTeach it. Rent it. Maintain it.
